Concert

So I will start out by saying that I was so dissapointed last night. First of all I will NEVER see another concert at Valley View Sport Center (Sports Arena) We picked up a friend who lived literally 2 exits off the freeway to it and it probably took us about an hour and a half to actually just get into the parking lot of the Sports Arena. Because they didnt know how to direct traffic. So by the time that we got there, Ellie had already started playing. (Which is who I went to see) I was so upset. I almost started crying but I held it in. Especially after paying a 100 bucks a head to sit in the very last seat against the wall. What I did see of Ellie, she was awesome! (better then Bruno I think) P!nk blew him out of the water.

So we ended up leaving early because I didnt want to sit in that crap getting out of there and hubby and everyone had to go to work today so we didnt want to be up till 1 sitting in traffic just to barely move a block.

The only highlight was seeing Ellie.

Ellie Goulding and Bruno Mars

I am so excited! I am going to see Ellie Goulding and Bruno Mars tonight in concert! I also have the coolest boss ever. He told me not to worry about if I wanna come in tomorrow.. if I dont show up then he knows it went late. "Dont sweat it" is what he told me :) So nice to have a boss that understands you have a life outside of work. And because of it we work our ass off for him cause he appreciates us. What a concept huh?

Anyways I will try and take some video and pictures of the concert! Gotta go get ready :)

The pool room

Well today I took some pictures of the pool room and realized I have some work cut out for me and the hubby. Dont mind all the junk. The room has become a dumping ground for everything we dont use all the time. All of this will be removed. Trust me! lol

As you can see the room is pretty dated. But thats ok. Gives me something to look forward to and something to work towards. :) Keep you posted on the room. As you know we are waiting for the pool table to sell. We have someone interested and wants to come look at it next week so we will see :)

Dinner Prep

So today we spent most of the day at Costco and at Walmart (unfortunately). I found a blog that had like 4 or 5 recipes for dinner that you can freeze and just pull out and put it in the crock pot the day of for dinner. So me and my mom were prepping everything today.

The recipes were:
Chicken Tortilla Soup
Sweet and Sour Chicken
2 different kinds of beef stew
Honey Lime Chicken

We will see how they turn out. :)

Trip to LA

So last night we got to drive up to LA and see a friend from Texas :) And of course I didn't take any pictures but she did. Maybe she will send some my way ;) We ate at a place called Rockin Brew in El Segundo. Food was really good. Kinda loud though. The only downside was that the traffic was horrible on the 405!! I was so ready to get out of the car. I was tired of dealing with the people. But once we got there it was worth it. Of course the drive back there wasn't any traffic so we got back in no time.

But I am so happy we got to meet her little girl since she had been born. She is adorable! Looks like her daddy. Love love love.

Next Vegas Trip!!

We have booked our next Vegas trip! This time at MANDALAY BAY!!! I have wanted to stay there for such a long time!!! We will be going Aug 14th through the 16th :) I will be posting more after the trip and of course pictures and maybe videos if it works properly. So excited! They have amazing pools.

The waiting game...

Well as you know we will be moving into a 358 sq ft room but we are currently waiting for the pool table that is taking up the room to sell. We might be waiting a while!

In the meantime. Thought I would post some pics and stuff from previous Vegas vacations.

The first time we went, we were living in Texas and once we went we were hooked. We went with my husbands friend Andrew and his gf (at the time) Emily. I dont really remember the date that we went. Sorry :/. Anyways enjoy!

This was our room at the MGM. The bed was amazing!

We took the time to go to the wax museum which is really cool if you get a chance. Its a little expensive. But they look just like the celebrities. Awesome :)

This is the Venetian which is cool. Looks like your outside and then they have gondola rides :)

Treasure Island. One of our favorite hotels. Very nice!

Then we went this past Feb to see P!nk performing at Mandalay Bay. We stayed at luxor. Not worth the money at all.. The luxor has gone way downhill. Constantly being bugged by workers to get you to sign up for stuff and pushing sales. The carpet was comming up in the hallways to the rooms. And the rooms were so so. Wont stay there again. Oh well now we know!

We stopped at the Mirage where they had Siegfried and Roy's lions and I went cause I love dolphins and wanted to see them :)

On our drive out there we stopped at a little Diner. Of course you have to get chocolate malts!

Our 3rd time out there me and hubby just went. It was the most relaxing time cause we mainly just spent time with each other and at the pool :) Which was awesome! They had a DJ. We stayed at Treasure Island which is so far my fav out of all of em. Drinks and pool and I am in heaven!

This was the view from one window. We ended up getting really lucky and they gave us a room on the very end so we had two views :) Pays to be nice to the hotel staff.
